Chloe Bailey is gearing up for a glorious 2025!
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the 26-year-old singer and actress revealed what she has planned for the new year in her career.
“I was more inspired than ever,” says Chloe — who teamed up with Ray-Ban Meta Glasses. “There are a lot of exciting things ahead of me, so I’m giving it my all.”
Detailing that she’s especially “really excited to dive more into her production bag again,” the Chloe x Halle musician continues, “In terms of production, drums and synths, it’s like my mind has opened up to a whole new world [after] to experience different cultures and things like that.”
“I’m really excited to get back pretty deep into my producer bag,” she adds.

Chloe Bailey on dealing with critics who targeted her for being too sexy: ‘Deep down it was killing me’
According to Chloe, she feels she’s at a point in her life where she can take a step back and really focus on what’s most important.
“I’m 26, I’ll be 27 next year, but I still feel like I’m 18 internally,” she explains. “I feel like a fraction of my age, I used to take life so seriously and now I’m at a point where I really want to focus on my happiness while working really hard towards my goals.”

Looking back at 2024, some highlights, Chloe says, include “releasing my second album, Trouble in paradise,” and travel around the world.
“Those are my happiest moments this year,” he tells PEOPLE. “I feel that all the moments that allowed me to grow as a human being and expand my mind remained in my fondest memory.”

Chloe also says being able to watch her sister Halle Bailey’s one-year-old son Halo grow up has been another highlight of the past year – especially as he’s helped her enter her “rich aunt era”.
“I definitely feel like I’m allowing myself to be more of a boss and not take everything so seriously, and I have to give him credit,” she explains of her nephew, who Halle, 24, welcomed with DDG in December 2023.
As for whether she and Halle plan to release more music together in 2025, Chloe teases that it’s on the horizon.
“I know she has a lot going on and I’m so proud and excited for her, so I can’t wait to finally put together the body of work we’ve been talking about for so long,” she says.
“At the Fashion Awards we were able to perform together again. It felt so special… and I can’t wait to do it again with another album,” adds Chloe.
