Chloe Flower is ready to grace the halls.
The pianist is exclusively releasing her cover of “Deck the Halls” with PEOPLE, out Thursday, Dec. 19, just in time for the holidays. The pop musician — who focuses on the fusion of pop and classical music — gives the classic tune a jazzy and playful twist.
Flower, 39, performed the upbeat song with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the English National Orchestra Choir at Abbey Road. It’s hard not to get into the holiday spirit listening to Flower’s reimagining.

“’Deck The Halls’ is one of my favorite songs, and I wanted to create a version that reminded me of one of my favorite composers, Beethoven,” Flowers tells PEOPLE of her rendition of the traditional Christmas carol.
“I wanted it to be epic but also beautiful. It was important to me to create a version that was classic but also accessible. That’s what ‘Popsical’ is. Plus, recording this at Abbey Road Studios with the amazing Royal Philharmonic Orchestra was the cherry on top on top!”

As for what’s next, Flowers says he’s looking forward to many things in 2025. “2024 has been a year of huge personal growth for me, and I’m about to release a new album with amazing featured guests.”
“There’s even more news that I can’t wait to share that everyone will be able to watch unfold,” she continues. “I’ve been documenting my journey over the past few months, not only as a composer and artist, but also as a woman in the music industry and an entrepreneur, so stay tuned!”

Pianist Chloe Flower on embracing what makes her unique — and what she learned from Cardi B
Flower previously told PEOPLE in December 2023 about what inspired her to make her album, Chloe Hearts Christmas, which focuses on her favorite holiday. “Musically, as an instrumentalist — I don’t have lyrics — so there’s always a bit of a built-in challenge,” she explained at the time. “And with Christmas, everyone already knows the music.”
“It was the perfect way for me to move between classical traditions, but also to innovate and create something new. And often if I’m writing my own music or writing something completely new, it can be more of a challenge because people don’t know the tune.
“That’s why Christmas covers are so great. I hope that when you listen to my album, [it] it sounds like Chloe because they already have the first step in knowing the melody.”
