Chris Evans Says Ex-Girlfriends Have Told Him ‘You’re Such a Gemini’: ‘I Will Dump My Brain Out’

Chris Evans is aware of his Gemini tendencies.

The Pain Hustlers the actor, 42, opened GQ in a new interview (conducted before the ongoing actors’ strike) about how he sees his real-life personality compared to the characters he portrays on screen.

Playing the superhero Captain America in the Marvel movies is “a bit against type” for him, Evans told the newspaper.

“In terms of, you know, morals, in terms of your personal integrity and the kind of person you want to be? I’d like to believe that I have more in common with Captain America,” Evans said. – Sets the bar pretty high.

The actor also joked that more than one of his exes has noticed that his Gemini sign suits him, even if he doesn’t believe much in astrology.

“It’s funny, I’ve been told I’m an extrovert. Although I think we all feel like introverts to some degree,” Evans said. “I’m quite an open person. I like communication.”

“I’m not sure how much I believe in astrology, but I’m a Gemini and I’ve had a lot of ex-girlfriends say, ‘You’re such a Gemini,'” continued Evans, whose birthday is June 13. “And one of the Gemini qualities is communication. We like to share and talk and just be honest.”

Evans admitted that he will “unapologetically pour his brains out” to someone “in some way wrong” – and “sometimes whether it’s asked of me or not.”

“But,” he said, “that kind of emotional sharing often comes with a physicality that I’m comfortable with, you know, body language and rhythm. There’s a commonality to that type of character that I think I’m comfortable with.”

In November, Sexiest Man Alive Evans told PEOPLE that he prioritized work-life balance in order to spend more time at home with loved ones.

“When it comes to looking for the people I’m playing, it’s more about where the movie is being shot,” he said at the time. “I’m too old to live out of a suitcase for six months and I’ve entered a nicer phase where I’m happy to be at home.”

Evans married actress Alba Baptista in a private ceremony in Massachusetts earlier this month. He said in November that starting a family is “absolutely something I want”.
