After playing for the university team, Chris started playing professional cricket for domestic team New South Wales and Sydney Thunder in the Australian Cricket League from 2014. Chris made his debut for Sydney Thunder in the final of the Australian Cricket League Season 4. In addition to the Australian domestic team, Green has also played for Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League and played for Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League.
