Chris Hemsworth may have taken a hiatus from the MCU, but he’s kept his superhero physique.
The Thor actor was seen with his wife Elsa Pataky enjoying the Australian sunshine in Byron Bay on Tuesday (January 14). Fast and furious the actress was photographed on a sandy beach playing soccer with a few of her friends.
On the beach, Hemsworth, 41, showed off his muscular frame in gray swimming trunks and draped an animal print towel over his shoulders. Meanwhile, Pataky, 48, wore a white high-necked one-piece swimsuit and a black baseball cap.

Recent photos of the fit pair follow Hemsworth’s comments about how quickly he knew his wife was the one. In September 2024, he appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show and he said as soon as Pataky arrived on his motorcycle for their first date, he thought, “Oh, great, she’s adventurous.” ”
He explained to Barrymore that he and Pataky were opting for an “active” lifestyle. “You want to have similar interests,” he said, adding, “Having the same interests and the same enthusiasm for the outdoors and sports and so on just makes it interesting.”
Hemsworth is also the founder of the Centr fitness program.

The couple, who met in 2010 and married the same year, were brought together by their mutual dialect teacher, Hemsworth explained to Barrymore. “I did what you did, and that was Google someone. I saw her photo and I said, ‘Yes! I’ll have her phone number. She is beautiful.’ And then we went out on a date and the rest is history,” he said.
Since they met, the couple have had three children together: twins Sasha and Tristan, 10, and daughter India Rose, 12.

Throughout their relationship, the two continue to express their individual gratitude to the other and celebrate his achievements. In May 2024, Hemsworth received a star on Hollywood Boulevard and thanked his wife for her support over the years.
“I want to thank my beautiful wife, who has been by my side throughout my career, endlessly encouraging and supporting me,” he said. Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga said the actor. “And I keep in mind that she put aside her dreams to support mine and, again, [I am] forever your debtor.”
