Chrissy Teigen Is ‘Begging’ the Emmys to Have a Chicer Red Carpet: ‘It Seems So Simple’

Chrissy Teigen didn’t walk the red carpet at the 2023 Emmys on Monday night, but she still had a lot to say about the look.

As the previous show wore on, all eyes were on the beautiful gowns, tailored tuxedos and that one enigmatic green goblin, but even all the glamor couldn’t remove the look of pacing and repetition.

Viewers quickly took to social media to shade the black background plastered with the words “Emmys” and “Fox” in capital letters, with one person sharing on X (formerly Twitter): “The Emmys step and repeat looks like a construction site of luxury buildings with no amenities. ”

Teigen, 38, also joined the discourse, taking to Instagram that evening to share her thoughts. “I am asking the awards to have a better pace and repetitions. It seems so simple. A little flowers and simplicity. God please,” she wrote.
