Chrissy Teigen Just Wore the Hybrid Winter Jacket Style I’ve Been Living in — Shop Similar Styles from $51

While traveling during the 2022 holidays, weighed down by a bulky woolen coat on an overcrowded flight, I made a mental note to buy a packing puffer for next season’s winter travel. That way I could squish the thing into a neat little package and stash it in my personal item until I hit the arrivals curb.

So, in November, I picked up a body-length puffer jacket with a raincoat silhouette from Aritizia — which manages to pack into a small crescent-shaped travel pillow (unfortunately, it’s sold out in the meantime). What was supposed to be a functional, winter travel jacket ended up being the coat I’ve worn most days since I got it, for everything from pajama camouflage while walking the dog to New Year’s Eve to formal dress with my favorite heels.

Chrissy Teigen also wears a puffer coat – she was recently in New York wearing an ankle-length version in a bright camel color. Her jacket, which has an oversized fit, also appears to have a hood and a narrow belt with extra large lapels and dropped shoulders.

I’ve found my puffer raincoat to be a great throw-on piece and suitable for a variety of temperatures, depending on whether I’m wearing it open or wrapped up in it with a big scarf. Maybe what you didn’t know was missing from your winter wardrobe.
