Once a dog lover, always a dog lover — at least if you’re Chrissy Teigen!
It’s on Saturday Cravings The cookbook author, 37, shared a sweet post dedicated to her family dogs over the years.
Teigen started the post with a throwback photo of herself and her mom, Vilailuck “Pepper” Teigen, with their childhood dog, and ended with a mirror selfie she took as a child, in which the cute puppy pokes its head into the corner of the frame.
“My OG babies! (I’ve always been a basset hound lover 🥰),” Teigen captioned the post. “Give me all the dogs!!”

In between throwback pictures of pets, the model also included photos of her current dogs.
In several photos, Teigen poses with her current basset hound, Pearl, who she and husband John Legend adopted as a puppy in 2021.
“I grew up with Basset Hounds so I can’t wait for John to see this bouncy, boneless, gelatinous mold of skin grow into the stubborn logs of love I love so much,” Teigen wrote on social media at the time. “Excited for this new little heart to add love to our home.”
Former Lip Sync Battle The presenter also shared a photo of herself enjoying kisses from another of her dogs, Petey, and a picture of her three-legged French bulldog, Penny, napping on the couch.

Legend, 44, also appeared in a slew of snaps, posing for a smiley snap with another of the couple’s furry friends, Pebbles.
The model and singer adopted gray-haired Pebbles in January 2022, and Teigen introduced him to fans with an adorable post.
Along with an adorable photo of the pup, she wrote: “Thank you for introducing us to this little bug, @jenatkinhair and @mrmikerosenthal! she is perfectly sweet and adorable and *I think* she might be the best cuddly baby in our whole house.”

And while Pebbles is as cute as can be — and pretty small — she’s also a fierce protector, Teigen revealed at the time, explaining that the pooch helped her daughter Luna, 7, overcome her fear of “bed monsters.”
“She came to us on a mission to protect little Luna from bed monsters and I’m happy to report that no one has been seen (heard? I have no idea) since her arrival!” Teigen wrote at the time. “Give this girl a raiiiiise baby! Welcome to the family, little little rock! (And thanks for trusting her, @pawworks 🙏🏼 thank you for all you do!)”

Penny and Petey joined the family in 2014 and 2020, respectively. Shortly after adopting Penny nearly a decade ago, Teigen told PEOPLE, “She’s a little tripod. She was abused and we are very excited to welcome her to the family.”
Petey, on the other hand, made his way into the 2020 star household with a little help from Ellen DeGeneres, who took to social media to shine a light on eight rescue puppies in need of families to adopt.

After seeing the talk show host’s post, Teigen and Legend tried to adopt one of the puppies, and their hearts were stolen by Petey — named after the parrot from Dumb and Dumber.
“Thank you @theellenshow and @wagmorpets for alerting us to this adorable little rescue family,” the model wrote on Instagram at the time. “This little boy grabbed our heart first and will hold it forever!”
In addition to being proud dog parents, the couple are also parents to four not-so-hairy babies, Luna, Miles, 5, Esta, 10 months, and Wren, 5 months.
