Christina Aguilera starts 2024 with those who matter most to her.
The “Beautiful” singer, 43, shared several photos on social media with daughter Summer Rain, 9, which appeared to be taken backstage after one of her shows at a Las Vegas residency.
Aguilera alternated slideshows of her Instagram post with photos of herself sitting in a winter outfit next to lights and sepia-toned photos of her posing with her daughter. In the pictures, the singer wore a cream bodysuit and cream leather pants with a matching long white puffer jacket, while her daughter was seen in a long black jacket.
The mother-daughter duo were snapped posing side-by-side, with Summer wrapping her arm around her mother’s neck and smiling widely, while Aguilera closed her eyes and smiled contentedly. In another closer photo of the pair, Summer could be seen smiling once more as the singer puckered her lips in a kiss.

The final shot shows the duo in an elevator as Aguilera wraps her arm around her baby girl and pulls her close to her body. Summer clung to her mother’s side with a smile.

The singer’s daughter has been with her since the beginning, appearing in photos while on tour earlier this year and videos ahead of her second Las Vegas residency at the Voltaire Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. In mid-December, Aguilera celebrated her 43rd birthday with her 9-year-old, sharing a video of the birthday surprise.

The clip began with a view of Aguilera walking into a hotel room decorated with silver streamers, pink, brown and gray balloons and a giant foil balloon banner that read “Happy Birthday.”
The “Genie in a Bottle” singer struck a pose in front of the banner before being joined by Summer, who gave her a sweet hug. The two were then seen entering the concert hall, where Aguilera was surprised with cake, cookies and macarons. She captioned the post by writing, “Thanks for all the birthday wishes – sending love from Vegas ♥️💋.”
Aguilera is spending the summer with fiancé Matthew Rutler. She is also the mother of son Max Liron (15) with ex-husband Jordan Bratman.

During her concert tour in March, she shared an update on how her daughter was adjusting to life on the road by sharing a photo of Summer sitting on the floor of an auditorium drawing in a notebook. This was followed by a video in which she revealed her drawing to her mother. The post also included a photo of a book with a world map and a picture of summer on a plane.
“Moments like these really make what I do worthwhile ❤️ Making new memories around the world with my family and watching my daughter capture her experiences in her own creative way has been the greatest reward 🎨✨,” Aguilera wrote in the caption.
