Christina Hall ran into one of her exes!
The Christina on the Coast star, 41, brought her followers along with her to the hair salon in a snap she shared on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday (August 14). In the video, she jokes that she sat next to her ex – her first husband, Tarek Ela Moussa.
“When your ex shows up next to you in the hairdressing chair,” she wrote in white text in the description.
El Moussa can be heard saying in the background, “Pills, potions and lotions at work,” while stroking her hair.
Hall then jokingly asks, “Is that all your hair?” Her ex replies “yes” with a laugh and points in her direction when he notices her filming him.

Hall and El Moussa were married from 2009 to 2016 and have two children — daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8. Hall also shares a 4-year-old son, Hudson, with her second husband, Ant Anstead.
Designer and Spinning 101 host starred in the fan-favorite HGTV series Flip or flop together for nine years until it ended in March 2022. Although they weren’t always on good terms after their split — especially after the infamous gun incident in 2016 that ended their marriage — the pair have since mended and are even willing to work together again .
In May, they announced that their new HGTV series, Flip Offwhich will premiere in 2025. The competition show will also star El Moussa’s current wife Heather Rae El Moussa, who Hall says is now “close” after the initial rocky start to their relationship.

“We’ve actually been close for a while,” Hall told PEOPLE exclusively in July about her friendship with Heather. “We constantly communicate about children. She’s a great stepmom — the kids love her so much.”
She added that “everything is boring actually, which is great,” especially after she and Heather had a rough patch in 2022 when the pair were photographed getting into a heated argument at one of Brayden’s soccer games.
Now the two are having fun collaborating on top-notch promotional videos for the new show.

The upcoming series was also set to star Hall’s estranged husband Josh Hall before he filed for divorce on July 15 due to “irreconcilable differences,” according to a filing obtained by PEOPLE. He also asked for spousal support, but Christina later requested that neither party be allowed to ask for spousal support in their own filing.
While HGTV has yet to confirm how Christina and Josh’s split will change the dynamics of the series, multiple sources have confirmed to PEOPLE that the mother of three returned to filming later in July without her husband.

On Friday, August 9, Christina shared a personal update with her followers on Instagram about how she’s been holding up nearly a month after the split.
“A month later … I finally got my appetite back. I’m working out again. My kids are happy and our house feels like home,” she wrote on her Instagram stories. “‘Those poor kids’ adore me… anyone who really knows us knows that and that’s what matters.”
The HGTV host added that she recently “laughed more than I ever have” on nights out with friends and that “work is going so well it feels like a dream.”
