Claudia Winkleman’s husband and children

Claudia is married to film producer Kris Thykier. Kris has been in the film industry for many years and his name is on the credits of many hit movies and television shows such as Kick-Ass, A woman in gold and Sky Atlantic Riviera. Kris and Claudia married in 2000 and the couple have three children, Jake, Matilda and Arthur. Claudia and Kris are generally secretive about their family life and rarely post about their relationship and children.

The accident of Matilda Claudia Winkleman’s daughter

In 2014, Claudia’s daughter Matilda was seriously injured and taken to hospital when her Halloween costume caught fire. Claudia stated that her daughter, who was eight years old at the time, brushed against a candle, causing her costume to catch fire. After the incident, the government subsequently tightened regulations around costume standards. Fortunately, Matilda made a full recovery.

In July, Claudia revealed that she almost gave up her presentation Strictly. Appearing on Radio 4 women’s hour, the TV star said she phoned bosses “in tears” because she feared the show would clash with her son’s college departure. “I called the boss Strictly said rather dramatically and through tears: ‘Sara, I love you. I don’t want to leave Strictly and Tess and I have agreed to go together when they finish with us, but if the first performance is on the 13th of September, I’m going and you’ll have to go with someone else.'”

Claudia was born in London to mother Eva Pollard and father Barry Winkleman, but her parents separated when she was only three years old. Eva’s mother is a former magazine editor Sunday Express and her father was a book publisher. After her parents divorced, her mom remarried a former magazine editor Daily ExpressNicholas Lloyd, and her father also remarried children’s author Cindy Black.

Claudia was born as an only child, but after the divorce of her parents, she got siblings through their later marriages. By her mother’s second marriage, Claudia had a younger half-brother, Oliver. In the second marriage with her father, Claudia also got a half-sister – actress Sophie Winkleman. Sophie has appeared in shows such as Peep show and Two and a half Men alongside Ashton Kutcher throughout his career. Sophie, now officially known as Lady Frederick Windsor, married Lord Frederick Windsor, son of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, in 2009.

Fortunately, Sophie had no long-term problems.
