The actor, 31, stepped out at Balenciaga’s Paris Fashion Week show on Sunday wearing a dramatic oversized brown suit – with exaggerated shoulder pads – and baggy plaid trousers. Underneath the jacket, he wore a see-through turtleneck shirt.

Sprouse arrived solo in his sharp suit.

The Riverdale the star’s sense of style has certainly evolved over the years since he rose to fame on Disney’s hit sitcom Zack and Cody’s apartment life along with his twin brother Dylan Sprouse. The series premiered in 2005 when the siblings were only 12 years old.

Cole recently reflected on the lasting impact children’s programming can have on children’s lives in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE.

“It’s really nice to see that people still have such a wonderful and nostalgic space that’s still carved out for children’s programming and our shows,” he said.

As for how he and Dylan felt about that period in their lives, he said, “Those parts of our childhood are really special and golden.”
