Colman Domingo Wants to Have Sex in Season 3 of Euphoria

Colman Domingo has some ideas for the upcoming season Euphoria.

During an appearance on SiriusXM Radio Andy On Aug. 8, the actor — who plays Ali, Zendaya’s street sponsor, on the HBO show — shared what he wants from his character in the highly anticipated third season.

“I want my character to have sex,” Domingo told Andy Cohen. “I would love to see – because I’m like, ‘These young kids are out there having all these kinds of sex,’ and I’m like, ‘I think Ali needs to take it a little bit this season.'”

Cohen said he “totally agrees[s],” considering he was the one who brought up the topic earlier in the conversation.

“Do you ever go to [creator] Sam Levinson and say, ‘Hey dude, let my character give Jacob Elordi some advice. Let me in with him,’ Cohen asked Domingo, asking him if he was giving Levinson any input into Ali’s story.

“You know, Andy, I think that’s a proposal that you and I can make. I think the world wants that,” the Emmy winner responded about a potential plot involving Ali and Elordi’s character, Nate Jacobs.

last month, Euphoria it has been confirmed that filming for the third season will begin in January 2025, a full three years after the premiere of the second season. The announcement followed months of speculation about when – and if – the hit series would return.

HBO has confirmed that cast members, including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow and Hunter Schafer, are expected to return for the upcoming season.

Earlier this year, Domingo joked with PEOPLE that season 3 would “take place in a nursing home in Southeast Los Angeles” rather than East Highlands High School like the previous two seasons, referring to how much of a hiatus there already was between seasons 2 and 3. . season.

He said he hasn’t “seen anything” for Season 3 at this point, but shared that “I’m very excited about it myself.”
