The star of Bargain Hunt Charles Hanson attacked her wife every six months for ten years and put her in the head, heard the court.
The TV auctioner, 45, has been charged with five acts in total after police were invited to a family home of £ 1.5m last June.

Stephen Kemp, by prosecuting, said the marriage “started happy”, but that the auctioner began to “use violence against his wife.”

This form of violence continued every six months during “the next ten years,” it was said.
In the alleged attack of 2015, Hanson caught his wife so hard in the middle of a row that she had left her three bruises on her arm.
Rebecca was too scared to call the police, but she telephoned her father and photographed her injuries, the court told the court.
On the second occasion on March 24, 2020. – The second day of locking – Hanson threw a phone in Rebecca, heard the jurors.
The night before, she told Mom Jacqueline Ludlum, saying, “Just let me inform you that Charles is quite nasty right now.
“If I get to the point where we are stuck in the house together, I think I will need to make a plan for children and go somewhere else.”
Bedroom ‘attack’
The court was told that Rebecca sent her mom to another message on May 16, 2020, after Hanson scratched her for her wrist when she grabbed his phone to stop him.
She said her husband was “very angry again” and began to notice the dates of various alleged attacks.
Mr. Kemp said, “Violence has never been such that she has ever felt that she should seek medical attention, does not claim that she has ever suffered broken bones or the like.
“Instead, it would usually be in the form of Mr. Hanson, who grabbed her and did it with enough force to leave traces on her often.”
On May 1, 2023. Hanson entered their bedroom when Rebecca was sick and pushed it, it was told to the court.
Then he allegedly pushed her again before she threatened to call the police.
Rebecca then sent her mom, saying she “tired of being scared.”
She added, “I need help, Tonight Charles pushed me hard with both hands on my shoulders twice, knocking me back.
“He never did it before.”
Jurori heard that Rebecca also sent her mother -in -law Gillian Hanson to tell her she would leave Hanson.
Gillian suggested that they go to marital counseling, to which Rebecca “reluctantly” agreed.
After talking with the counselor on May 18 that year, the police got involved in their relationship, it was said.
She sent her husband a message, saying, “I shouldn’t be afraid of my husband – they are intended to protect you not to hurt you.”
Hanson told his wife, “Sorry. I just don’t want to break up,” to which she replied, “Then don’t break your wife around.”
The auctioner replied, “I will never again.”
