They show that the actor initially owed £588,015.18 and entered into an agreement in 2018 to pay it.
Actor Ken Barlow (91) had until last month to make the full payment.
But High Court documents obtained by The Sun claim he only coughed up £41,666.65.
The popular star was hit with £14,699 in interest and more than £8,000 in late payment penalties, both included in the total.
He now faces a High Court battle in March.
We said last month it was facing bankruptcy again after HMRC applied to the High Court.
The debtor justly and truly owes us the total amount of £546,348.53 which is the amount of £588,015.18
HMRCTax letter to Bill Roache
The fresh details were revealed in paperwork in which HMRC said: “The debtor justly and truly owes us a total of £546,348.53, being the £588,015.18 claimed in the statutory claim less the £41,666.65 paid by of the date of issuance of the said request.”
Roache, who goes by his full name William Patrick Roache, will fight the case in the High Court next month.
He is the longest-serving television star in a continuous role appearing in Corrie since 1960. In December, he signed for another year, 12 months after his latest rumored £250,000 deal.

A twice-married father-of-five, his financial problems date back to 1991 when, despite winning £50,000 in a defamation claim against The Sun, he was liable for £120,000 in costs.
He sued his law firm for negligence in 1998 and was declared bankrupt in 1999. Two years later creditors estimated he had £600,000 in unpaid debts.
Tax avoidance agreement
In 2012, Roache became a “designated member” of a company registered in the Cayman Islands called Twofold First Services LLP.
She ran a scheme that involved claiming tax relief from the artificial losses of a country-owned company.
In 2018, the tribunal ruled that it was a tax avoidance arrangement in a significant victory for HMRC.
Last night, his representatives were invited for comment.
A Corrie spokeswoman previously said bosses were “really sorry to hear about Bill’s financial situation and that he remains a much-loved member of the cast”.
