After a shooting at a Whitehaven gas station in Memphis, Tennessee, Cortez lost his life. The unexpected death of Cortez Wallace shocked Memphis, Tennessee and beyond, leaving his friends and family in shock and confusion. Cortez’s life was brutally cut short at a gas station in the Whitehaven neighborhood of Memphis in a fatal shooting. All those who were close to Cortez feel even more pain and distress because of the questions and concerns raised by the circumstances of the murder.
Shortly after midnight, a horrific shooting took place at a nearby petrol station in Whitehaven, killing one person and injuring another. The deceased victim has been identified as Cortez Wallace, a resident of Memphis, Tennessee. The incident happened around 1 a.m. Thursday and was quickly responded to by the Memphis Police Department (MPD). The shooting happened at the Fill N Save gas station, located at 1341 Winchester Road. Officers found Cortez Wallace seriously injured when they arrived. Unfortunately, he did not survive although he was immediately sent to Regional One Health in serious condition. After being injured in the incident, another person sought medical attention and drove herself to Regional One Health. It was stated that their condition is not critical.
Police submitted evidence indicating that the suspect used a silver Infiniti in the incident. This unfortunate situation is still being investigated.
