Country Singer Kylie Frey Is Pregnant, Expecting First Baby, a Boy, with Jo Peasall (Exclusive)

Kylie Frey is going to be a mom!

The country music star is pregnant and expecting her first child with boyfriend Joseph “Jo” Peasall, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal.

The couple is expecting a baby boy later this year in August. They have chosen a name, but want to keep it a secret until their son is born.

Frey, 29, is currently 25 weeks pregnant. She found out she was expecting on New Year’s earlier this year.

“Jo and I are very excited to show our son what hard work, dedication and passion look like through what we do both on the road and at home,” Frey tells PEOPLE.

Frey previously paid tribute to Peasall, 27, in a post he shared on Instagram in February. “Happy Valentine’s Day to my favorite partner in crime @cottontown_jo,” the musician captioned a photo of the smiling couple wearing cowboy hats together.

Peasall paid tribute to his girlfriend on her birthday in March by sharing a sweet video montage featuring recent clips from the “Woman Outta Love” singer.

“Happy birthday to the most passionate, funniest, hardworking, bravest, brave and beautiful woman! Keep on being Miss Thang, the world needs it! 🥳❤️,” he captioned the post in honor.

Frey, who previously competed in Season 18 American talentis a 2024 CMT Next Women of Country honoree.

She was recently featured on a Cody Johnson single and toured with the star, along with Jamey Johnson, Randall King and Robert Earl Keen.
