- Although people thought that Maradona was the first to break up, Christiana said in an interview that she was the one who took the initiative to break up with him. She gave the reason,
I was the one who left when I realised there were too many people around us getting in the way. I felt the world around him was too big not to overwhelm him and leave no space for our love. He was away at the World Cup and we talked a few times afterwards. He knew I was pregnant and Diego always wanted us to be together. ”
- After the news of her relationship with Diego Maradona and the birth of a child with him came to light, many news portals requested her for interviews. She has appeared on Italian talk shows such as The Maurizio Costanzo Show (1993) and Angels of Tomorrow (2016).
- In 2019, she appeared in archival footage for the British documentary Diego Maradona.
