Dan Bourchier’s career
In 2012, Bourchier started working for Sky News as a Darwin reporter before rising to the role of Northern Territory Bureau Chief. He previously established Australia’s first news bureau for Sky News and National Indigenous Television in Darwin. In late 2015, Bourchier was hired to replace outgoing reporter David Lipson as a Canberra-based political correspondent, retaining his position as indigenous affairs correspondent.
