Daniela gets engaged to her childhood sweetheart Cancela after a decade of dating. Cancelo passionately proposed on the beach in the Maldives on July 4, 2021. A turning point in Cancelo’s career
Cancelo was on the verge of retiring from football after the death of his beloved mother in 2013. He was dead inside, having lost the light of his life, which is why he is still alive. On 7 August 2019, he signed a six-year contract with Premier League champions Manchester City. On the 25th of the same month, he made his Premier League debut in a 3–1 win over Bournemouth, and in December he scored the first goal in a 3–1 win against Oxford United in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup.
He achieved success with his scoring ability and impeccable assists, helping the team to their first UEFA Champions League final. In 2016, he made his senior debut for Portugal.
