Dannii Minogue calls Russell Brand 'vile predator' after incident on show

DANNII Minogue has claimed disgraced comedian Russell Brand “wouldn’t take no for an answer” and branded him a “vile predator” in a re-interview.

The Australian pop star made the claims years before the bombshell revealed allegations of rape, sexual assault and abuse against the star.

Brand has denied all the allegations against him, which were made in a report by The Times and the accompanying documentary Dispatches.

However, in 2006 Ms Minogue also made damning allegations against him.

She said: “He’s completely crazy and a bit of a vile predator. I certainly don’t think he’s cured his sex addiction, that’s for sure.

“He wouldn’t take no for an answer. […] He always goes that step too far. Never far enough to slap him in the face, but usually too far.

“He’s obviously very intelligent – but he wears more make-up than I do. By the way, I like guys with eyeliner. It can be very sexy, but not on Russell. Absolutely no way, ever, he’s just not my type.

“I’m told that in the past he got fired from MTV for wearing an Osama bin Laden costume to work the day after 9/11.

“I couldn’t believe that I had just agreed to be interviewed by someone who would do something like that, it really pissed me off. And then during the whole interview he said shocking words that I can’t even repeat. Just saying those words would make me blush.”

Claims by Brando’s alleged victims range from rape to sexual assault to emotional and physical abuse.

One woman claims she was the victim of an assault at Brando’s home in 2013 after they met at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

Another claimed that the comedian raped her against a wall in his home in Los Angeles.

The third states that when he was only 16 years old, he forced her to perform oral sex until she suffocated and that she had to punch him in the stomach to make him stop.

This is not the usual type of video we do on this channel where we criticize, attack and undermine the news in all its depravity because in this story I am the news.

I received two extremely disturbing letters – a letter and an email.

One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper, lists a litany of extremely outrageous and aggressive attacks as well as some pretty stupid stuff – like my community festival should be stopped, so I shouldn’t be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel .

But amid this litany of stunning, rather baroque, attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These accusations relate to when I was working in the mainstream – when I was in newspapers all the time, when I was in movies, and as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.

Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that then, almost too transparent. And now I’m transparent about it.

And when I see how that transparency has metastasized into something criminal that I absolutely deny, it makes me wonder if there is some other agenda at play?

Especially when we’ve seen coordinated media attacks before – like with Joe Rogan when he dared to take a drug that the mainstream media didn’t approve of and we’ve seen a series of headlines from outlets around the world using the same language.

I’m aware that you’ve been saying in the comments for a while now ‘Watch out Russell, they’re coming for you, you’ve come too close to the truth, Russell Brand didn’t kill himself’.

I know a year ago there was a flurry of ‘Russell Brand is a conspiracy theorist, the right wing of Russell Brand’ articles.

I am aware that the media are calling, sending letters to people I have known for years.

It was clear to me, or at least it seemed to me, that there was a serious and concerted plan to control these kinds of spaces and these kinds of voices, and I mean my voice along with your voice.

I don’t mind them using my books and my attitude to talk about my promiscuous consensual behavior in the past. What I seriously deny are these very very serious criminal charges.

It is also worth mentioning that there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives these two major media outlets are trying to construct in what appears to me to be a coordinated attack

I don’t want to go into this any further because of the serious nature of the allegations, but I feel like I’m under attack and it’s clear they’re working very closely together

Obviously we’re going to look into this matter because it’s very, very serious. In the meantime, I want you to stay close, stay awake, but more importantly than all of that if you can, please stay free.

A fourth woman accused him of sexually assaulting her, as well as emotionally and physically abusing her.

A fifth, Jordan Martin, claims he subjected her to emotional, sexual abuse and forced her to brush her teeth so hard that her gums bled.

Before the claims were made public, Brand released a video denying the allegations, insisting that while he was “promiscuous”, his relationships were always consensual.
