Lucy DeVito is pregnant!
The 40-year-old daughter of Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman is expecting a baby with her fiancé, PEOPLE can confirm.
Lucy’s bundle of joy is due sometime this summer, according to the star’s rep.
On Saturday, Perlman, 75, walked the red carpet at the 2024 SAG Awards with her oldest daughter, who debuted her baby bump in a red dress.

Lucy’s baby will be Danny and Perlman’s second grandchild. In June 2023 Cheers alum revealed in the episode Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus podcast that one of her daughters had a daughter of her own last year.
While Perlman didn’t say whether the baby’s mom is Lucy or her younger daughter, Grace, 38, she did share her granddaughter’s name: Sinclair Lucille DeVito. – They kept the name DeVito even though she is married and her husband is not DeVito, but that’s how they chose – she revealed.
The Barbie the actress also reflected on what becoming a grandmother means to her. “Everyone said that having a grandchild would change your life, and it does,” she explained.
Perlman continued, “There’s a certain love, I mean I felt it when my own children were born, a love I’ve never felt before for anything… But this was a deep feeling, and here it is again. They can do no wrong. The sight of a new human being is so amazing, that people create other people. It’s amazing.”

In addition to Lucy and Grace, Perlman and Danny also have a son, Jacob (36). They first started dating in 1971 and married in January 1982. Perlman and DeVito divorced in October 2012 after 30 years of marriage. They reconciled in March 2013, before splitting again in March 2017.
Although they remain separated, Perlman shared with PEOPLE in 2022 that she and Danny are still family.
“We’re still apart, but we see each other a lot and we’re still a family,” the four-time Emmy winner said. “We can do things together, we can do things apart. I’m really, really glad that Danny and I were able to get through some tough days so that we could have this different kind of relationship. I think that’s pretty rare, but we agree on so many things that it makes sense.”
