Darren Criss and his wife Mia Criss are celebrating an important wedding anniversary!
The joy star, 37, shared a rare personal Instagram post on Friday marking five years of marriage to Mia.
“Best f—— day of my life,” Darren captioned a photo of the pair singing together at their reception, as he reminisced about his wedding day in 2019.
The justice league the star went on to explain that she usually avoids posting about her private life, even though she knows fans are curious.

“I am also acutely aware of how much it would mean to my wife if I announced my feelings for her to the wider world outside of our friends and family,” he wrote.
To celebrate their partnership, Darren called marrying Mia “one of the best decisions I’ve ever made” and their 2019 wedding “the biggest party I’ve ever thrown”.

“And so on the anniversary of that decision, I would like to say how deeply grateful I am for Mia and all the wonderful things she has given me in my life,” he wrote. “It’s getting better and better, because every day I love her more and more.”
The actor concluded by describing his wedding as “fun, bat—- bananas crazy wacky.”

Back in April 2020, Darren opened up about his relationship with Mia, telling PEOPLE, “We’ve been here for 10 years as each other’s ultimate plus one.
He also called his wedding “the most magical experience,” adding, “Say what you will about the construct of marriage and tradition: weddings are amazing.”
Mia and Daren met in 2006 through mutual friends and began dating in 2010. Together they own a piano bar in Hollywood and welcomed their first child, a daughter named Bluesy Belle, in April 2022. In December 2023, the couple announced they were expecting their another child.
