Bribery charges
In October 2023, BJP’s Lok Sabha MP Nishikant Dubey alleged that Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra accepted “cash and gifts” from Darshan Hiranandani to raise issues in Parliament. Dubey said he received a letter from lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai containing evidence of such bribery between Moitra and Hiranandani. Dolby said,
It appears that the representativeist Dehadrai has done meticulous research on the basis of which he has concluded that around 50 of the 61 issues raised by Moitra in Parliament recently were, shockingly, not related to Protect business interests related to Darshan Hiranandani and his companies. “
