Taylor has won a phenomenal 16 world championships and is considered by many to be the greatest darts player of all time.
But it is 17-year-old Littler who is now setting the sport on fire with his sensational rise this year.
The teenage sensation reached the World Cup final on his debut and has been making his mark in the Premier League since earning his place as well.
And now Taylor has said he would take the youngster to an exhibition match if he could set two conditions.
The senior tour star wants to play just one share of 301 AND wants to be first at the table.
Speaking to TalkSPORT, he said: “No [I don’t want to play him]. Not yet, I don’t want to play it to be completely honest with you!
“I’d play with him in an exhibition, yes. One leg of 301, me first!”
And maybe there’s a slight fear of “The Power” at the thought of facing Littler.

Luke Littler’s heroics even drew cheers from his opponents after a historic nine-dart finish at the Players Championship
“I didn’t really watch darts, I wasn’t really interested and he made me watch it again.”
Littler returns to action tonight when he takes on Gerwyn Price in a quarter-final clash as he bids to reach his second consecutive Premier League final.
