Dave Bautista takes fans on a trip down memory lane!

On Thursday, May 30, the 55-year-old actor shared a photo of himself during his teenage years on Instagram.

Baby-faced and tattoo-free, the then 16-year-old Bautista sported a pair of red pants and a sleek ’80s hairstyle as he stood on a balcony overlooking the ocean.

“I’m back to 16-year-old me, beach body and all. Nice view! #ThrowbackThursday,” read his caption.

Despite appearing to be a bit shorter than the actor’s current 6’6″ frame, Bautista’s teenage self had an incredibly toned physique, which his followers were quick to notice.

Bautista also shared the clip on his Instagram Stories and on X (formerly known as Twitter).

The Knock on the cabin The star’s throwback photo comes after he celebrated Remembrance Day in a post honoring the “brave souls who fought for our freedom” on Monday, May 27.

According to The Hollywood Reporterthe upcoming thriller will star alongside Sophia Lillis, Jack Champion, Kate del Castillo, Whitney Peak, Bobby Cannavale and Tony Dalton.

Directed by Michael Dowse, the film follows an undercover DEA agent and his partner as they try to hunt down thieves in El Paso, Texas. However, things take a turn for the worse when the rogue agents are teenagers who use their parents’ methods to steal from the cartel.

Bautista’s new film comes after he reprized his role as the Beast Rabban in Dina: The second part earlier this year.

Speaking to PEOPLE at the film’s New York premiere in February, the actor talked about working with the star-studded cast.

“It’s terrifying,” he told PEOPLE at the time. “It’s really scary, to look over and see Stellan Skarsgård and look down and see Christopher Walken, and see Timmy [Timothée Chalamet] and Zendaya and Austin [Butler] and Florence [Pugh] and Josh Brolin.”

“God, I’m in love with a man, with Josh Brolin,” he added. “I love him as a performer, as a human being.”
