Career
David Eriksen began his career as a songwriter and producer in the early 1990s. He worked with various Norwegian artists, such as Tre Små Kinesere, Solfaktor X, Ym: Stammen, and La Verdi. He also collaborated with international artists, such as Captain Hollywood Project, Flava To Da Bone, Ray Cokes & The Sex Gods, and Ab Und Zu.
One of his breakthroughs came in 2003 when he co-wrote and produced “Invisible” for American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken. The song was part of Aiken’s debut album Measure of a Man, which topped the Billboard 200 chart and sold over three million copies in the US. David became the first Norwegian writer/producer to be part of a number-one Billboard album.
