After nearly a month of anniversary celebrations, Behavior Interactive has released a new 5.1.0 update death at dawn, which will bring tons of changes to survivors, killers, and gameplay for all players except those on Nintendo Switch. For PC, Xbox, and PlayStation players, the update goes live today (July 27) at 11 a.m. ET. Nintendo Switch users will have to wait a while for updates to their games.

The reason is simply for Behavior Interactive to address a performance issue that continues to affect the Switch console even after the update is enabled. Unfortunately, this will impact other aspects of gaming for Switch players. They won’t be able to use cross-platform play or access the new Tome/Rift until the update is available. However, death at dawn To accommodate this, Rift’s duration has been extended by one week, Switch players will receive blood points and Rift Shards once the update is released, and Switch players will still have access to the upcoming Blood Hunt.
With the update rolling out today for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, players will see gameplay changes, visual changes, and performance changes that will hopefully mean fewer issues and crashes in the game.biggest death at dawn Changes are coming to Hustlers, and so will the visuals for survivors Meg, David, Nia, and Claudette. The Trickster is going through some sweeping changes: he now has to hit a survivor with 6 knives to deal damage instead of 8, his main event has a shorter activation time, and his main event now lasts three times as long. This does not include redesigns of its add-ons. Meg, David, Nia, and Claudette’s character visuals have been updated to make them look better and more reflective of Behavior’s current focus on character realism. They also changed the tutorial, improved the HUD, and changed the system of how each side in the game judges hits/tray drops.
Updates are always welcome in the game, especially when death at dawn. There are a number of bugs and crashes that hit console players particularly hard. To compensate for this, disconnection penalties for players have been turned off. While this was beneficial for those who accidentally disconnected, it also led to a plethora of intentional disconnects, frustrating both survivors and killers for a number of reasons. Hopefully with these fixes it means penalties can be re-enabled.
5.1.0 updates are Behavior and death at dawn To show that they listen to players, see problems, and want to fix them. While it’s extremely unfortunate that players on Nintendo Switch won’t be able to access updates or cross-play until they are enabled, it can be assumed that players would rather update to fix game issues rather than add more content.based on death at dawn To say they will extend the Rift by a week to accommodate this is a reasonable assumption, and they are aiming for a week delay after the Rift launches.
