Deepak Tijori made his film debut with a supporting role in the film Tera Naam Mera Naam (1988) and went on to star in the film Parbat Ke Us Paar (1988) and supporting roles in Main Tera Dushman (1988). 1989).

- In 2012, the Garden Estate Cooperative Society in Mumbai’s Goregaon asked Tijori to vacate their house within a month after complaints from neighbours. Deepak’s neighbors have filed a resolution with the registrar’s office accusing his family of rude behavior, disrespectful attitude towards paying bills and the behavior of the head of the social office. Tijori responded by slamming the criminal case against nine members of the association. In 2014, the Registrar made a decision in Tijuli’s favour.
- In 2017, Deepak’s wife Shivani apparently kicked him out of their house in Goregaon, Mumbai. Shivani reportedly discovered her husband’s affair with a yoga instructor. She also accused Deepak of domestic violence. After the incident, Deepak began staying at friends’ houses or private homes. Things got out of hand between them and both filed for divorce and Shivani also filed for alimony, saying:
I am an abandoned wife. I can’t maintain my expenses. My husband has the responsibility to do what is necessary for me and my daughter.
However, to their surprise, their marriage was eventually annulled. Because Shivani never divorced her husband.
- His film Do Lafzon Ki Kahani (2016) has already created controversy among the public for its intimate scenes. Lead actress Kajal Aggarwal; lashed out at director on TV talk show; admitted her mental anguish while acting out scenes. Kajal also said that she will not work with Deepak again.

- While studying in college, Tijori joined a theater troupe that included Aamir Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker (director), Paresh Rawal ) and Vipul Shah (director), who were friends from his college days and also lived in his locality.
- His friends (Aamir Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker, Paresh Rawal and Vipul Shah) were always talking about films and films, which influenced him to pursue an acting career.
- Prior to his debut, Deepak worked as a space salesperson at Cineblitz magazine and as a front desk manager at Searock Hotel in Mumbai.

I have played such ridiculous characters before in Afsana Pyaar Ka, Parbat Ke Us Paar, Kaun Kare Kurbani. I wonder how much worse Ashqui could be? But I had faith in Mahesh Bhatt, so I agreed. Much has changed since then.
- Akshay Kumar auditioned for the role of “Shekhar Malhotra” in the film “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar” (1992). Milind Soman was initially signed to play the role, but he dropped out of the film after a few days of shooting, and the role eventually went to Deepak.
- In 2001, Tijori won the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Miniseries for Thriller at 10 – Fareb.
- Deepak Tijori was a wild card contestant in the first season of Bigg Boss in 2006, replacing Salil Ankola. A month later, he was kicked off the show. After his eviction, he said he would make a movie based on the play. Tijori made controversial remarks about the show, calling it “whitewashed reality.”

- In 2009, Deepak’s daughter Samara was returning home from Andheri after shopping with friends when a car driver stopped her and kidnapped her. Samara’s friends reported the incident to the family, following which Deepak registered a case of kidnapping at the police station. A few hours later, Samara escaped her captors and returned home. The kidnappers were subsequently arrested.
- Deepak is also one of the judges of the Miss India Global 2006 and Miss India Global 2009 pageants.
- In 2018, Deepak replaced Shah Rukh Khan as “Bob Parr/The Incredibles” in the Hindi version of the animated film “The Incredibles 2”.
- He is an avid animal lover and owns two dogs named Fraser and Muffin.
