Dipesh Ban

Deepesh Bhan (1981-2022) was an Indian television actor, known for his role as Malkhan in the hit Hindi television series “Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!”. (2015). He died of cerebral hemorrhage on July 22, 2022.

Deepesh started his career as a theater artist and worked with various theater companies including Amitabh Das Gupta Theater Company. In 2007, he played a supporting role in the Hindi film “Faltu Utpatang Chutpati Kahani”. He appeared in some Hindi TV series such as “Sun Yaar Chill Maar” (2007), “Comedy Ka King Kaun” (2016) and “Bhootwala Serial” (2017). Some of his popular Hindi TV series include “FIR” (2006), “Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!” (2015) and “Ma’am, may I come in?” (2016).

On July 22, 2022, when he was playing local cricket in Mumbai, he suddenly fainted. He was later taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Later, one of his co-stars Shubhangi Atre confirmed that Deepesh died of cerebral haemorrhage. Shubanji said in an interview,

I live in the same building and now I’m at his house. Initially, we were told it was heart failure, but now we’re told it’s a brain bleed. In the morning he went to play cricket with friends and collapsed. He’s fine, he’s playing cricket and was on the field this morning. “

Indian television actress Kavita Kaushik took to Instagram to share her grief over Deepesh’s death and wrote:

Deepesh Bhan, a very important actor in Fir, passed away yesterday at the age of 41. He was a healthy man who never drank/smoked or did anything harmful to his health. Things happened, leaving his wife behind. One year olds, parents and all of us. I remember the love and respect he had for everyone he met and I now believe this was a good man God chose to call sooner… So sad to process it all… It was a dark day… RIP Dip”
