She spoke of her early difficulties and said she was forced to sit in a hot room to adjust to the gathering conditions.

She also had to know rally driving rules as well as navigation signals and precautions. She started racing in 2019 with her daughter Shivani Pruthvi as her navigator and their first rally was the 2019 South India Rally.

She also won the Times Women’s Drive title two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019 with her mother. In 2021, she participated in the KMS 50 Grand Prix held in Coimbatore.
