Delhi Kindergarten Admission 2024: The authorities will start registrations for Kindergarten, KG and Class 1 admissions in private schools on November 23, 2023. The deadline for submitting enrollment forms is December 15, 2023, according to the Board of Education. Parents must apply for enrollment within the stipulated period.
The first Delhi Kindergarten Admission List 2024 will be released on 12th January 2024. Moreover, 25% percent seats are reserved for economically weaker sections, disabled children and disadvantaged groups in private schools. A separate list will be issued for these categories.
Who is Eligible for Delhi Kindergarten Admission 2024?
According to the eligibility conditions, the age limit for preschool institutions is 3 years, 4 years for preschool and 5 years for enrollment in 1st grade (as of March 31).
“An age reduction for enrollment of up to 30 days can be approved at the level of the school director in the minimum and upper age limit for those classes,” the official notification states.
This means that schools will deal with parents’ questions from January 13 to January 22, 2023, after the publication of the first enrollment list. “Parents can approach the school director/principal requesting age relaxation through manual application,” the notification said.
Delhi Kindergarten Admission Criteria 2024 to be submitted by November 20
Furthermore, schools must submit the admission criteria and their scores on the module by November 20, 2023. In the event of a tie, the draw will be made by random selection of ballots or by computer in the presence of parents. Also, the draw will be recorded and the authorities will keep the recordings.
Is the purchase prospectus mandatory?
Not! Buying a prospectus with an admission ticket is not important at all. Parents will be charged only Rs 25 as registration fee.
