Demi Moore is a practical grandmother!
On Saturday, December 28, the 62-year-old actress posted a winter photo and two videos on Instagram showing herself with her granddaughter Louette (“Lou”). Substance star can be seen in a long dark gray North Face coat, winter hat and snow boots, while little Lou, 20 months, wears a camouflage coat and brown gloves.
“Snow days with Lou ❄️☃️,” Moore captioned the sweet post.
Lou is the daughter of Moore’s oldest child, Rumer Willis, 36, and ex Derek Richard Thomas.
While appearing in the episode Today back in September, the actress shared that she loves being a grandmother, revealing that Lou – who is currently her only grandchild – calls her Yaya (which means “grandmother” in Greek).
Bruce Willis’ early symptoms of dementia dismissed as ‘just part of stuttering’ he’s had since childhood
Family time seems very important to Moore these days — especially since her ex-husband Bruce Willis was diagnosed with aphasia that has progressed to frontotemporal dementia. Moore shares Rumer, as well as daughters Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30, with Die a man actor, 69.

Moore gave an update on Bruce earlier this month, telling CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, “Given that, he’s in a very stable position right now. And I’ve shared this with you before, but I really mean this so sincerely: It’s so important for anyone who deals with this to really meet them where they are. And from that place there is such love and joy.”

Back in August, Moore shared several family photos on Instagram, captioning the post that the “sweet” family moments help keep everything “in perspective.”
According to Rumer, Moore always had a family approach to life. Speaking to PEOPLE in 2021, Rumer credited the cohesive “co-parenting” of Moore and father Bruce for her and her sisters’ well-being.

“I’m incredibly grateful that both of my parents worked so hard my whole life that I never felt like I had to choose between them,” she said at the time, adding, “I have a lot of friends who grew up with parents who divorced young and I watched their parents pit them against each other or have to choose between holidays.”
“And I didn’t have to do that and I feel so grateful that my parents made it a priority that we could be a family, even though it looked different,” she added.
