Devin Dawson and Leah Sykes are going to be parents!
The two musicians shared the exciting news on Monday with a joint post on Instagram that they are expecting their first child together. The couple also revealed that they will be welcoming a baby girl.
Posting several photos, the happy couple posed with their sonograms outside and inside their home, with Sykes placing his hand on her baby bump in one photo. Another photo shows a couple with their two dogs, holding sonogram photos on the couch.
“This has been the hardest secret to keep, but… we couldn’t be more excited to share with you that we will be welcoming our baby GIRL this July! π©·,” they captioned their post.

Devin Dawson and Leah Sykes are married! All the details from their wedding in Tennessee
In 2019, Dawson, 34, and Sykes, 26, got married in Franklin, Tennessee. Ahead of the wedding, the couple talked to PEOPLE about what life together would look like.
At the time, Dawson said he was excited to take their love to the “ultimate level.”
“I’m excited to celebrate with our family, to grow stronger together, to get through hard times, to start a family, and to always have someone closer than close,” he said.
Before their big day, Dawson told PEOPLE that he and Sykes chose the wedding venue (which played an important role during and just after the Battle of Franklin in the American Civil War in 1864) because it was the ideal setting for a fall ceremony.
“The estate has the perfect setting for a fall wedding with a garden, foliage and a 250-year-old oak tree that serves as an incredibly beautiful and natural altar,” said the couple, who added that they chose Dawson’s signature black color scheme, as well as merlot and champagne, for interior design.
Speaking to PEOPLE at the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards in April, the “All on Me” singer opened up about his proposal to Sykes, saying he “could go on forever” about how he popped the question.
βI grew up in Northern California. She had never been to San Francisco so we went to San Francisco for the weekend,β Dawson said. βIn short, I took her all over the city. I think she expected me to propose in this place, in Twin Peaks, on Ocean Beach, and I didn’t do it until the very end.β
“We climbed onto the roof of the Virgin Hotel,” he continued. “They let us have the whole roof to ourselves and I got down on my knees and she just started screaming.”
Dawson previously told PEOPLE that his proposal came on the couple’s two-year anniversary.
“I’ve known for a while now that I want that to be the day I propose to her,” he said dark horse – said the singer. “I wanted to set that day in stone so we could always remember how important March 10 is to us.”
