A woman filed a police report against Diplo, again claiming that he shared nude photos without her consent.
The woman, identified as Shelly Auguste, filed a new police report in August. In November, the LAPD turned the case over to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office and it is now under review, Pitchfork reports. This is part of an ongoing legal battle that first came to light in 2020, the allegations of which Diplo has denied.
In the report, Auguste is suing DJ, 45, for sexual assault, gender-based violence, intentional invasion of privacy, battery, assault, defamation, intentional infliction of emotional pain and fraud, as well as violating the Ralph Civil Rights Act and violating the Civil Rights Act Tom Bane, reports the house.

According to Pitchfork, the same day Auguste went to the police station, she said in the report, a woman contacted her on Instagram and told her she had six nude photos of her; Auguste explained in the report “that the photographs which or [Diplo] took or what she gave him.”
Auguste — who previously claimed that DJ distributed her sexually explicit videos without her permission and knowingly gave her an STD — “believes that [Diplo] distributes nude photos because he is angry with her because she recently filed a lawsuit against him,” the paper said.
A civil trial is reportedly scheduled for April 2024. Auguste did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Meanwhile, Diplo’s lawyer said Auguste has “orchestrated an ongoing smear campaign against [Diplo]” more than three years — and it’s no different.

“Mrs. Auguste was already subject to a restraining order, the violation of which resulted in an arbitrator’s decision and a court judgment of more than $1.2 million in damages for her misconduct. Her recent attempt to win over a co-conspirator to get rid of [Diplo] in a bogus lawsuit collapsed within days when incontrovertible evidence disproved her story, and the case was dismissed,” Bryan Freedman said in a statement.
“Now, Mrs. Auguste is working again. But [Diplo] he will defend himself and, as he has done every time Ms. Auguste has slandered, harassed and attacked him and his family, he will win,” he added.
In July 2021, Auguste filed a police report accusing Diplo of filming and distributing sexual content without her permission.
In October 2021, Diplo publicly denied the allegations in a lengthy Instagram post after she filed her first claim. He also sued her for conversations, trespassing and distribution of private materials, the newspaper said.

Diplo claimed she was “dangerously unstable” and claimed she was “relentlessly trying to communicate with him” after their relationship ended.
In January 2021, the couple signed a dual restraining order, agreeing not to disparage each other. Then, in September 2022, Diplo was awarded $1.2 million after she claimed she threatened to release revenge porn and repeatedly contacted the mother of his child and other family members.
Shortly after Auguste filed his lawsuit, another woman also filed a lawsuit against Diplo, according to Pitchfork, claiming she was forced to perform oral sex with him at an after-party in Las Vegas in 2019, and he filmed the alleged incident without consent. The woman withdrew the complaint within a month of filing.
