Russian model Alexandra Djavi, who acted in the Tamil film ‘Kaanchana 3’ was found hanging in a rented house in Goa’s Siolim on August 18. She was living with her boyfriend in the house. Although Goa police suspect it to be a case of suicide, they were waiting for the post-mortem report. Later, police said that Alexandra was ‘mentally disturbed’ and was under medication. According to the police official, ‘in the absence of her boyfriend, she died by suicide by hanging herself to a ceiling fan hook in the kitchen with a red sari.
When her boyfriend reached the house, he found the main door latched from inside, and no response from the deceased.’ On August 20th, the Goa police said that there is no foul play in the case. On the other hand, a 24-year-old model actress 2019 filed a complaint against a photographer in Chennai for sexual harassment. Alexandra accused the photographer of seeking sexual favors to click photos and later he was arrested. Now, the Greater Chennai police said that they would assist the Goa police with any details of the 2019 case.
