Doechii sets the record directly that Grammys is not live.
In the Tictok video of Saturday, February 15, the “Nissan Altima” rapper, 26 years, addressed his followers in the midst of the claims that Doechii (26) lips in the lips in 2025 Grammys during his live performance “Catfish” and “Refunction RIJEKA “On Sunday, February 2nd.
“I can’t head here and say this calm or beautiful: you are all stupid as hell,” she began, understandably frustrated. “So slow! It’s the voice of my DJ who picked up on the lines I can’t say because I do Somar.”
The performance of Doechii contained complex acrobatics, complex choreography and intense sets. At one point, she leaves the shoulders of the dancer and walks the human staircase consisting of a dancer.

“The whole performance was live!” She continued before giving insight into her health. “I was sick as a dog with bronchitis and flu, performing ass in fear of the top of human people.”
Doechii also pointed out that the beads she carried to the microphone at the beginning of her set. “[I] I made asses to build endurance because of this, to play in the face, “she concluded.” I don’t synchronize my lips. Never play with me like that. Ever!”
That evening, Doechii gave an emotional speech accepting the turntable for the best rap album. “I put my heart and my soul into this mixtape. I boarded my life. I went so much,” she said. “I dedicated myself to sobriety and God told me I would be rewarded. And I have to thank God.”

Doechii concluded her speech on an inspiring note. “I know there are some black girls out there. So many black women who watch me right now. And I want to tell you, you can do it. Everything is possible. Everything is possible.”
“Don’t let anyone project any stereotypes about you who tell you that you can’t be here, you’re too dark or not smart enough or too dramatic or you’re too loud,” she continued. “You are exactly what you need to be to be right where you are, and I am a testimony.”
She was also nominated for the best new artist and the best rap performance for “Nissan Ultima” at the 67th Grammy Awards.

Troye Sivan slid to Doechii’s DMS to manifest cooperation
The host in Tampa also reflected on her complex performance on the night of Grammy.
“This performance is one of the most difficult performances I have ever done and I really felt the need to push myself stronger than I had ever had before,” Doechii told reporters in the press room 2025. “It meant all that to me.”
“[I] I proved myself tonight – and so – and that’s how it was about rape, theater and art, and I think I brought it to the stage, “she added.
