Music is part of the family: Xavier and Elijah followed in their parents’ footsteps and found success in the music industry.

Although Xavier does not have social media to promote his music, he is in a metal band called Upon Stone, based in Los Angeles. He is the singer and bass player in the group.

As for Elijah, he started his own band called Pink Laces and his dedicated Instagram account features several photos of him in the studio playing several different instruments.

Donnie doesn’t see his sons often – in person or online – for an important reason. During a guest appearance on Rachael Ray’s talk show, he shared his older son’s desire to stay out of the public eye.

In the tape, Donnie mentioned how he “shouldn’t” be talking about Xavier on TV. “My older son – I won’t say his name because he’ll be mad at me if he happens to see this – but he’s in the band.”

The actor went on to describe how he and Xavier discuss music even if their tastes are different, but at the end of the day, he prefers to stay out of the spotlight.

Donnie also talked about how Elijah loved performing on stage with New Kids on the Block when he was 9, while Xavier enjoyed playing his own music.
