How to delete a Snapchat account?

- Open Snapchat.
- On the home page, tap your profile icon on the left.
- Then tap on the Settings icon at the top right corner of the screen.
- Scroll down a bit and select the “I need help” option under Support.
- After that, type Delete my account in the search bar and tap on it.
- Then the account removal support page will appear, tap on the account portal.
- Enter your login credentials and confirm.
Now your removal request has been sent to Snapchat and your account has been deactivated successfully. It will be automatically deleted after 30 days. If you choose otherwise, you can log into your Snapchat account at any time during the 30-day period.
Via desktop browser
If you want to deactivate or delete your Snapchat account using desktop, you can follow the steps below to access Snapchat on PC:

- Go to the Snapchat login page and enter your login credentials.
Note: Once you’ve entered your information and submitted it, you’ll receive a code via Snapchat if you’ve enabled login verification.

What happens when you delete your account?
To be honest, it’s not like everything ends in an instant. Once you have completed the process of deleting your Snapchat account, a period of 30 days will begin, during which no one will be able to interact with your account. You will now have around 4 weeks to reconsider your decision or wait for your Snapchat account to be permanently deleted. When your account is deleted, the following information is also deleted. Save your information before deleting your account
