After completing her four-year medical degree, Dana Brems was selected to attend a three-year surgical residency program at MemorialCare Long Beach. During this time, she gained experience in a variety of foot and ankle conditions and received extensive training in elective and trauma surgery at a Level II trauma center. She also received additional training at a local VA hospital with an emphasis on limb protection and wound care, especially for patients with diabetes. Dana Brems was trained by a renowned podiatrist in Los Angeles and specializes in innovative cosmetic surgical techniques to reduce scarring and swelling.
