Profession

doctor

Dr. Daniel Aronoff is an Australian doctor who has become famous through TikTok and social media. Aronoff was known for his skits, dances, and medical education content he posted on social media until November 2021; however, he uploaded a number of extremely gory surgery videos, which got him into trouble. Dr Daniel Aronov is a general practitioner (GP), but in Australia, cosmetic surgeons do not need the same specialist training as plastic surgeons. Aronoff, like many others, entered the lucrative field of cosmetic surgery, which is almost a billion-dollar industry in Australia. He was previously associated with Dr. Daniel Lanzer. He faced harsh criticism after a joint investigation by Four Corners, The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald exposed the unspeakable horrors behind the cosmetic surgeon’s reputation. Since being banned from having plastic surgery or other surgeries, Aronoff has tried to minimize the punishment or limit the ban; however, the medical association has not granted him any exemptions.

Dr. Lanzer Class Action Lawsuit

Dr. Daniel Aronov is a defendant in a class action lawsuit filed by Maddens Lawyers in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia, led by Kathyrn Emeny. This class action lawsuit represents everyone who suffered loss or damage as a result of cosmetic procedures performed at Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Services, Inc. (DCSS) or by one or more defendants. The class action lawsuit alleges that plastic surgery was performed without adequate skill and care. Allegations of negligence and failed surgery

A number of patients have come forward to share their shocking experiences with the media after a joint investigation revealed a hidden side of Australia’s beauty industry. A 42-year-old woman from Sydney underwent a tummy tuck and liposuction by Dr Daniel Aronov and her husband found her in critical condition hours after the procedure. On November 16, 2021, she was rushed to St. Vincent’s Hospital, where hospital officials commented that it was a miracle that she was still alive. Hospital authorities expressed concerns over the patient care provided at the beauty clinic and said it would be reported to officials. Many patients came forward and testified that they had to endure severe pain for a long time and even had to seek help from other hospitals for corrective surgery.

  • The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency’s (AHRPA) decision to keep Dr Daniel Aronoff as a general practitioner (GP) has been heavily criticized by the public. He was banned from performing cosmetic or surgical procedures in Australia; however, they allowed him to continue working as a general practitioner under the supervision of an AHRPA-approved supervisor. In November 2021, his appeal against the ban in federal court was dismissed, and he subsequently resigned.
