Robin Radhakrishnan is an Indian doctor, motivational speaker, actor and screenwriter. He came to limelight with the reality television show Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 (2022).

Dr. Robin Radhakrishnan, popularly known as Dr. Machaan, was born in 1991 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala (age 31; as of 2022).

He studied Bachelor of Medicine in Internal Medicine at Government Medical College, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu. In an interview, he stated that his grades in school were below average. He further said,
I failed my exams multiple times and became a backbencher. My parents, like others, used to ask me to learn from other students. I was fat and uncomfortable, no longer on shows, and always alone. But I believe in the power of dreams. I studied hard, cleared the medical entrance and got admitted to Government Medical College, Chidambaram. Today, I work in the hospital where I was born. “

Then he started making motivational videos on Instagram. His videos can also be viewed on his YouTube channel of the same name. In an interview, while talking about making motivational videos, he said,
My first video was about “demotivating people.” But I don’t call myself a motivational speaker; I talk about things I’ve experienced in my 29 years of life – very simple and relatable things, as you can see. Things we didn’t notice. As my follower count increased, people started sending me private messages. I receive at least 2,000 messages a day, from eighth graders to middle-aged men. I found that they were happy to disclose their problems to me. I never knew I could make such a big difference. I responded to every text message, hoping that my little effort could help them. I, on the other hand, am a very normal person. I feel depressed and moody at times. But when it comes to putting a smile on someone’s face, I try to be selfless. “
He has featured in several Malayalam cover songs such as KS Harisankar’s “Mizhiyariyathe” (2018), KS Harisankar’s “Pavizha Mazhaye” (2019) and KS Harisankar’s “Jiya Jale” (2019) .
In 2019, Dr. Robin starred in the Malayalam short video “Niram”.
