Dr. Shikha Nehru Sharma was born in Kashmir. She attended Modern School, Vasant Vihar, Delhi. She completed her MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.

Profession

She started her career as a junior doctor at GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi. In 1995, she started her own business but it failed. In 1998, she started her own company again, “NutriHealth Systems”, with an aim to provide nutritional consultancy services.

In 2016, she received Rs 12 crore in funding from Singaporean firm One Health Ventures and her company was renamed Dr Shikha’s NutriHealth. In an interview, Dr Shikha said,

I want to establish the company as the most trusted name in healthcare and establish a brand for technological innovation in the space. Our goal is to become the leading player in nutrition consultancy in India – a one-stop shop for all nutrition consultancy and research in India.”

Later, she partnered with Deloitte India to secure more funding.
