Drew Carey isn’t afraid to call out unruly audience members.
The The price is right host, 66, had a humorous response to his audience after the crowd reacted negatively to a contestant named Brian while answering one of the game show’s iconic segments, Switcheroo.
In a clip posted to Instagram on December 16, Brian had 30 seconds on the clock to match the missing numbers for five prizes which included a car, ice scraper, massager, iron and pillow. Instead of rushing in blocks like typical players, Brian took his time to be sure of his answers.

“25 seconds,” Carey said of the time left on the clock. “20 seconds. He’s not in as much of a rush as everyone else who plays this game.”
After Brian moved the numbered blocks to the positions he believed to be the correct answer, Brian ended the game with 10 seconds remaining. When the buzzer finally sounded, the audience was unimpressed with his choice and resented the final result.
Carey seemed taken aback and paused briefly before saying, “Well, good morning, convict!”
Despite their reactions of dismay, Carey found that Brian’s two answers were correct. The host added that one of his correct answers could be a car, and Brian asked for another 30 seconds on the clock to try again.

He returned to the board and traded the blocks for a car, but hit the changes a second time and returned the board to state before swapping at the last minute for lower stakes prizes.
With the new changes, Carey revealed that Brian only had one correct answer.
“Uh oh,” Brian grimaced as Carey added, “I hope it’s a car.”
