FOR superstar Dua Lipa, sex talk never stops on One Kiss.
The pop beauty (28) believes that lovers should leave awkwardness at the bedroom door and be completely honest about their needs.

Dua, who went to number one last week with her single Dance The Night, insists: “It’s a strange anomaly for me not to talk about sex with the person you’re having sex with.
“I think it’s important to normalize the conversation about sex and make it a topic that we can talk about more freely, so that we can get rid of the guilt and shame that surrounds it.”
But even though she believes in courage in bed, when it comes to finding love, the singer is very much an old-fashioned girl at heart.
She’s not a fan of dating apps like Tinder and Bumble because, she says, they’ve taken away all spontaneity in favor of online searches that can feel a bit “unsexy”.
The duo, whose other chart hits include New Rules, One Kiss and Electricity, explain: “I have so many friends on dating apps and sometimes it works.
“But the idea of meeting in the community, through friends, starting conversations and doing things that don’t feel so clinical is probably the best way to do that.”
She adds, “Erasing the suspense feels a little unsexy.
“There’s something about the unknown that’s exciting — going with the flow.
“You want to know you’re going in the right direction, and then you can let life take its course.”
The singer is currently in a relationship with French music video director Romain Gavras (42), who was in a relationship with Rita Ora. And the couple met through friends, not on the Internet.
Dua was with model Anwar Hadid (24), the younger brother of Gigi and Bella Hadid, for two years until 2021.
In December 2022, she was rumored to be dating First Class singer Jack Harlow, 24, who previously wrote a song named after her.
She was also seen in New York with US host Trevor Noah, 38, in September 2022.
Dua and Romain only started seeing each other at the beginning of this year, but it seems they are already getting serious.
Last week, Dua introduced her new man to her mum Anesa and dad Dukagjin at a restaurant in Ibiza, where she celebrated her 28th birthday.
He firmly believes in remaining faithful, but he knows that it is not easy.
“It requires strength and maturity,” says Dua. “Before, people got a lot of different things from different people within their community.
“Now people base all their happiness on one person. We want to find the one that fulfills everything — our romantic needs, our sexual needs, our best friend needs.”
The secret to making love is to find fun and have realistic expectations, he adds.
“It’s always so fun — and it goes back to that idea of keeping things fresh — to find ways to still be curious about your partner.
“So much of what I read about relationships these days is about the ‘roommate phase’ where you feel like you’re living together but you’re no longer in a relationship.
“What can you do to ensure that your interest in the relationship never fades?
“Are we destroying relationships by trying to be even happier when we are very happy to begin with?”
Dua has had a lot to be happy about lately – romantically and in her career.
Her biggest birthday present was the news that she had scored her fourth No. 1 with the single Dance The Night, which appears on the Barbie soundtrack.
The singer responded by posting a photo of her own Barbie doll of the same name on Instagram, along with the words, “Birthday week going strong.”
Dua has earned an estimated £60million from her string of hits and has also won three Grammys and six Brits.
She performed 82 shows on her Future Nostalgia World Tour, named after her second album.
And One Kiss, featuring Calvin Harris, was the longest-running No. 1 single by a female artist in 2018.
Her success is particularly impressive given that she is the daughter of Kosovar Albanian immigrants who fled the Bosnian war in 1992 and lived in a council flat in London.
The hottest dad
“At home, everything was Albanian, and English was my school life,” she said in 2021.
“She studied cello at school and shares her passion for music with her dad, who was known in Kosovo as the singer and guitarist of the rock group Oda.
Together they started the Sunny Hill festival in Pristina.
It is Kosovo’s biggest music festival and charity fundraiser, which has featured Miley Cyrus, Stormzy and Calvin Harris, as well as a host of local artists.
Comedian Jack Whitehall called Dukagjin “the hottest dad in the music industry” at the Brit Awards 2019. But Dua already knew she had great genes.
“Boys at school would say, ‘Your mom is hot.’ Little girls would say, ‘Your dad is so fit,'” she said in 2018. “It’s funny, but as a kid it made me blush.”
In her At Your Service podcast for the BBC, Dua says she had “no inhibitions” when she was younger. But she suffered from anxiety attacks over her musical abilities.
“A lot of the time I feel like I’m making it up as I go along,” she says.
Dua is a firm believer in the “ten thousand hours” concept – the idea that you have to “keep practicing and being s**n before you get OK”.
He continues: “I love performing and being on the road. It took me a while to gain real confidence.
“I’m just learning how to address the audience. . . because that’s one more thing you have to do.
“It’s not just ‘I’m going to dance and sing,’ it’s interacting with other people. Exercising brought me to that.”
Dua’s third studio album is due out next year. She says, “I sharpened my focus between the first and second records. I think the same is happening with my third.
“It’s easiest to stay in the comfort zone. But when you’re out of your comfort zone, that’s where things get interesting, even if they’re scary.”
Dua feels the same way about relationships, saying, “You have to really want to put in the effort.
Many people approach relationships with deadlines in mind – it’s when we say we’re dating, it’s when we move in, it’s when we get married. But are these conversations productive?
“Communication is key, but it’s also one of the first things to break down.”
