“He doesn’t care about anything. He’s just doing his thing. I think that’s a good thing. The crowd here, the PDC, the sponsors, I think they made a great tournament. And that’s what I want.
“I definitely needed it. We all know that I have had very difficult matches recently and last year in the final.
“I’ve been worse many times. You have to make sure you keep your fighting spirit. Never give up. That’s what I did. I think this audience deserved something. Winning this trophy, yes, it means a lot to me.
“People probably don’t even know 5% of the great times Toon Greebe and I had. When we played together in our youth. We had a great time.
