Dwayne Johnson Details Scary Plane Emergency: 'You Can't Help But Think, Is This It?'

Dwayne Johnson described in detail the scary experience during a recent flight from Hawaii.

Johnson, 52, posted a video message on X 28, revealing that his plane must return to Hawaii after the crew discovered the “edition of Hydraulic” in the middle of the flight, forcing the former wrestler to miss out on the second season of the United Football League in Texas.

In his video message, Johnson, co-owner of the UFL, said he was “super pumped to go down there” and “rock and roll with all players and coaches” before explaining what happened to his plane.

The pilot obviously gave Johnson his “word” that the plane would land “safely to the island” after discovering the problem.

“I appreciated his behavior in the moment,” Johnson shared, adding that the pilot said I couldn’t “take the risk” continuing the flight, “especially through the ocean.”

“I took it as a sign of God and the universe,” he continued, remembering “really f ——– Crazy turbulence” during the flight. “You can’t help it, but don’t think … Is that that?” Johnson added.

The actor said he asked the flight attendant to become “double” his drink after the pilot informed him of the plane. “When you are alone with your drink … hoping you will surely bring it back … You start to understand with — That is really important in life … And with — That doesn’t matter. UFL held its inaugural season in 2024 after Johnson, together with Dany Garcia and Redbird Capital Partners, bought XFL in $ 15 million, forbes said. The UFL was created when the new ownership team connected the XFL with the USFL (Soccer League of the United States) in early 2024.
