Eagles QB Jalen Hurts Makes Rare Appearance With Girlfriend Bry Burrows at Time100 Next Gala

Jalen Hurts shines both on the main stage and on the glamor stage.

The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, 25, who led his team to the Super Bowl in February, made a rare appearance with girlfriend Bryonna “Bry” Burrows at the Time100 Next Gala on Tuesday in New York.

The event honored Hurts and 99 other inspirational people from around the world to make the annual TIME100 Next, and the magazine noted that the athlete, “who this summer signed a contract that makes him the highest-paid soccer player in history, [is] ‘a model of how to approach work.’ ”

In April, the NFL star confirmed her relationship with Burrows in Essence cover story, telling the magazine, “I’m not married or anything. But I’m being talked about.”

Speculation about their romance was first sparked when they celebrated together on the field after the Eagles’ NFC Championship victory over the San Francisco 49ers in January.

However, the quarterback revealed that Essence that he and Burrows had been on and off since college when they first met at the University of Alabama. “I knew a long time ago,” Hurts told the magazine. “I mean, to this point in my life, that’s an irreplaceable feeling. I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now.”

Hurts and Burrows are private and successful in their fields. Burrows lives in Dallas and has a career in technology as an artificial intelligence partner for IBM, where she has been employed for about four years, according to LinkedIn.

After sharing an article on how to deal with an “always on” culture in a LinkedIn post in 2021, Burrows liked the suggestion to “do something active,” writing that it was a “game changer” for her.

Burrows was part of the MBA Case Team that brought glory to the Crimson Tide, as was Hurts at quarterback. She was part of the team that won the 2019 SEC Championship and described it as “one of my most memorable moments at school.”
