Stacey Slater’s stalker, Theo Hawthorne, hasn’t been seen on the soap for some time, and viewers can’t help but wonder why.

EastEnders fans took to X(Twitter) to express their confusion at Theo’s disappearance, with one asking: “Why didn’t EastEnders bring up the Stacey/Theo thing for 2 weeks? Like it never happened.”

Another user asked: “#EastEnders had a really good Stacey/Theo week, it ended on a cliffhanger when Theo woke up and his statement didn’t match Stacey/Freddie’s.

“And now none of them have been seen or mentioned in almost two weeks? But yeah, let’s listen to Keano/Ravi/Jay whine endlessly.”

While a third added: “Watching #EastEnders and wondering WHERE IS THEO?! Why is that storyline completely gone?

“It was so brilliant, and now I’m forced to hate – watch Keanu and Jay (but I love Priya).”

As a fourth query: “I wonder how Theo is doing? #EastEnders.”

The last time the twisted teacher was seen on screen, his obsession with Stacey had reached a new low.

Theo broke into her house and tried to rape her, after torturing her for months.

Stacey tried to go to court to get a stalking restraining order against him, but it was not granted.

During the episode, Stacey gave two heartfelt monologues as she talked to her granddaughter about how good people get hurt and how bad men who get away with doing bad things always try to ruin women’s lives.

She said, “It’s like no matter what you do, they’re always going to win. The good ones always end up getting hurt.”

It was then revealed that Theo was outside listening in, when in fact he was pretending to be Graham Foster, Freddie’s dad, who texted Freddie earlier in the episode.
