The starting area of Limgrave is in Elden Ring Liunia of the Lake contains four new Defiled Tears, but is slightly less generous, offering three obtainable Chalices of Tears. Having said that, obtaining Divine Tears is crucial for high health builds and spellcasters, as it increases the replenishment of Crimson and Cerulean flasks.
After defeating Godric the Grafted, you can get Lynia’s First Holy Tears Ring of Elden. Follow the main trail near the lakeside cliff ruins to nearby Iris Church to the west. Inside, Turnished will find a Sacred Tear as well as an NPC named Thops who sells low-level magic spells once the player donates 10 runes. Complete his quest to get the Bell Bearing, the Academy Amphibole Staff, and the Topus Barrier Magic. Lynia’s next two sacred tears are far more difficult to find, requiring a bleak journey to the northern regions near the border of the Atreus Plateau.
The second holy tear is Bellam Church, which is a landmark building on the Bellam Highway. To get to this position, Tarnished has two options. First, they can find the Academy Glintstone Key to access Raya Lucaria’s east portal, which will take players directly to the Bellum Highway.On the other hand, they can take the Liurnia highway Ring of Eldon, through the maze of ruins to the western cliffs, and a platform challenge to reach Bellam Highway. Both of these methods are pretty tricky, but they will allow access to Lyonia’s second and third Holy Tears slots.

The Amphibious Key is located in a rock formation west of Rayalukaria, but is guarded by the amphibious dragon Smarag. The other ruin maze route doesn’t contain battle bosses, but Bleak has to get past a couple of tauren who can snipe low health structures with one hit. Additionally, once players finally reach the Belum Highway, it is recommended that players do not travel to Berum Church at night, as there will be high-level night troopers patrolling the road. Once the defilement finally reaches the church, they can pick up the second holy tear.
The third and final Sacred Tears Ring of EldenLiurna of the Lakes is located within the Church of Inhibition, on a hilltop east of the Bellam Highway. The church cannot be reached from the south, and players must follow a path up the ridge from the north. However, the towers of Wildfire Village guard the path, and anyone brave enough to pass will be driven mad. Additionally, once players reach the Church of Suppression, they are invaded by Vic the Festerfinger, who can also cause insanity with his weapons and spells. Still, after victorious entry into the Graceful Place of the Sanctuary Chapel, the Defiler can collect the last of the sacred tears of Ljurna in the lake.
